Route Description
This is a short and enjoyable hike. The hike is not steep and not very bushy. And yet, it embraces very interesting rocks and open views. It ends in Saikung where you can enjoy seasoned seafood after the hike.

Starting from the Ma On Shan BBQ park, we arrived at this junction shortly. We turned right to enter the village.

Cross this bridge (平安橋) to enter the village where you may find a small iron mine museum. The most callenging part of this trip is to navigate through the village to get to the hiking path. You may need to ask the villagers for direction.

It seems that we are on the right track. The colourful ribbons are helpful.

This is the Lizard Rock. Does it look like a lizard?
The rocky lizard resides on the left on the main route. To visit this lizard, you need to make a lttle off-route attempt.

This is the famous Dragon Boat Rock (龍舟石). This cylindrical rock is naturally eroded to a rocky boat. There are many other genuiusly crafted rocks around this hill top.

This grassland is a popular place for paragliding when the weather is right. A great place for enjoying open views too.
