Lantau

Trip Description

Lo Hon Tower is in fact a big rocky tower near Lantau peak. Although the government survey map does not display this trail, this track is easily recognizable.

Location 1

Altitude : 360M

Description : This is entrance towards Lo Han Tower.If you walk from Shek Mun Kap (¥Ûªù¥Ò) to Ngong Ping (©ù¥­), this entrance will be on your left.

Location 2

Altitude : 455M

Description : The first portion of the track is covered by tall trees and bushes.

Location 3

Altitude : 655M

Description : Here we left the bushes and hike on open area.

Location 4

Altitude : 735M

Description : This big rocky structure is Lo Hon Tower.

Location 5

Altitude : 810M

Description : Here we reached the heel of the tower. You can climb up the tower along the cracks on your left. You can also by-pass the tower by taking a passage on your right.

Description : Just around the corner on the right passage, you will find a big cave lying about 50m away form you.

Description : The cave is pretty big, it can shelter several people for lunch or something.

Description : This Lo Hon Tower picture was taken from the cave. After visiting the cave, you should go back to the passage underneath Lo Han Tower and continue your journey back to Lantau Peak.

Description : This is what Lo Hon Tower looks like from Lantau Peak.
