Trip DescriptionThis stream locates in Lautau, it is short and easily accessible. |
Location 1Altitude : 25MDescription : This is the entrance of LingFeng stream. In the past, you could get down to the stream from the bushes behind the pavilion. This route is now leading you to a low land with ponds and tall grass. Nowadays, you are recommended to take the footpath marked by a bright red hydrant a few steps away from the pavilion. |
Location 2Altitude : 15MDescription : Here you can find a rock wall inscribed with the wordings of Buddhism. |
Location 3Altitude : 65MDescription : Here are two short waterfalls in series. |
Location 4Altitude : 110MDescription : At this height, LingFeng stream joins a catch water. If you wish, you could leave here. Before reaching the catch water, you will face a firm rock cliff blocking your way. You may try the slope of loose rocks on your left to get through this. |
Location 5Altitude : 125MDescription : This pool is a key landmark of LingFeng stream, this clear green pool is called Jade Moon Pool (»A¤ë¼æ). In summer time, it is essentially a big tub for several people. |
Location 6Altitude : 190MDescription : At this height, you will meet the Lantau Trail. |
Location 7Altitude :230MDescription : This fall is probably is the tallest waterfall of LingFeng stream. It has about 6M to 7M tall. You can overcome the fall on the right. The stream will join the main footpath soon after this waterfall. |
